British switch specialist Maxwellia has received an injection of funding via the the BioCity angel investment platform, which it says will be used to support prescription-to-OTC re- classifcations in the area of women’s health and wellness. Two of these switches were currently undergoing the approval process with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), BioCity revealed, moving Maxwellia - the “world’s frst Rx-to-OTC switch incubator” - a step closer to completing its frst “switch-in-a-box” reclassifcation.
