Universe Symphony: A musical planetarium play with an astronomical theme

Charles Ives (1874-1954) was a founder of the modernist school of American music, but he remained underperformed for many years because his compositions were so difficult. I became interested in lves after hearing his short work "The Unanswered Question" on a classical radio station. (www.youtube.com/ watch?v=vXD4tIp59L0) "The Unanswered Question" has a cosmic theme that appealed to me and I learned that Ives also composed a much longer piece called Universe Symphony. Only sections of this monumental work are available because the symphony may have been more of a "think piece,' never intended to have a full performance.
