The Slides of C. M. Topping - Another Look

It has been 20 years since Brian Bracegirdle's seminal work Microscopical Mounts and Mounters was first published [1]. A brief entry presented what was then known about Charles Morgan Topping, one of the earliest and most influential commercial slide makers of the Victorian era. In the years since, 5 additional research papers on Topping have been published in the Quekett Journal of Microscopy (QJM), each increasing our knowledge of the man and his work [2-6].
