The theme for Bee Aware Month 2020 was 'bee a hero', with New Zealanders encouraged to take simple steps to help bees such as growing bee-friendly plants, learning how to spray safely and supporting local beekeepers. ApiNZ also highlighted beekeepersas everyday bee heroes, who work hard to care for and protect our bees.
