Judges reject Ilva bid to reclaim seized steel

Judges in Italy have rejected a bid by steelmaker Ilva to reclaim ?1bn ($1.3bn) worth of steel products seized as part of an environmental damage investigation at its Taranto plant in southern Italy. The steel products were confiscated last year in a move, which Ilva claimed would threaten the future of country's biggest steel plant as well as others linked to its production.
