Austrian specialty steel maker Voestalpine says group earnings should improve in the last quarter of its fiscal year after seeing earnings and sales fall below market expectations in the third quarter. The Linz-based steel maker also revealed it had cut its full-year profit forecast after being hit by falling prices for pipeline and power station projects due to weak demand in the energy sector.
