The Tree Health Diagnostic and Advisory Service (THDAS) within Forest Research works to diagnose tree pests and diseases, and to offer objective and impartial advice on tree health in Great Britain. It comprises a team of entomologists and pathologists based at Forest Research's two main research stations - Alice Holt Lodge in south east England and the Northern Research Station near Edinburgh in Scotland.
