Japan and India sign steel free-trade pact

Japan and India have signed an economic partnership agreement (EPA), which will eventually eliminate tariffs on 98% of steel products traded between the countries. Levies on most finished and semi-finished products, including pipes and tubes will be phased out, during a 10-year period, with some ending within six years.
