Background: Studies have shown that cannabis can interfere with hematological parameters and platelet morphology. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether patients with cannabis use disorder undergoing primary total knee arthroplasty (TKA) have higher rates of (1) venous thromboemboli (VTEs); (2) readmissions; and (3) costs.
