Singapore Exchange (SGX) is “working hard” to try to double the cleared volume of its iron ore swaps contract to 100mt/y in the next few years, says Kenneth Ng, vice president for commodities at SGX. “We have seen strong interests in the SGX Iron Ore Swaps,” he told CRU Steel News after addressing a workshop on the contract.
