PurposeWe investigated different sample pretreatment strategies and developed a standardized sample pretreatment protocol for absolute quantification of seven apolipoproteins (Apos) in human serum by LC-MS/MS using proteotypic peptides and corresponding stable isotope-labeled peptides as internal standards.
