Some Mixed-Ligand Complexes of Titanlum(IV) with Dibasic Tetradentate Bis-Schiff Bases of 1,2-Diaminoethane As the Primary Ligands

Some mixed-ligand complexes of the type TiLB [where L=bis(salicylaldehyde)ethylenediamine (Sal-en-Sal) or bis (5-bromosalicylaldehyde) ethylenediamine (~5BrSal-en-~5BrSal) and B=catecholate (Cat), benzilate (Benz), salicylate (Sali) or phthalate (Pthal)] have been prepared and characterized through various physicochemical techniques. An approximate octahedral structure has been suggested on the basis of the analytical and physical data and the literature evidences.
