Elections look set to delay Posco's Indian development

The South Korean steel maker may have to wait until the final outcome of India's national elections before it can begin development work on its proposed $12bn steel mill in Orissa. The elections are scheduled for April/May, but Posco needs to tie up some outstanding issues, including renewing an expired Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Orissa administration.
