Although hardly more than an hour's drive from London, Bury Court, near Farnham in Hampshire, feels rural and remote. And in autumn, when its waves ofcopper and parchment-tinted grasses complement the surrounding sere, frosted grassland and brown silhouettes of dormant trees, the harmony between garden, architecture and landscape is remarkable.
