Top shops ride a wave of growing demand

Glance at some of the top custom fabricators on the 2019 FAB 40, and you'll see some eye-popping revenue numbers. Many companies shot past their sales forecasts, and most projected their revenues to continue to climb this year. Revenue boosts from acquisitions aside, most don't expect 2019's organic growth to be as dramatic as last year's. Many have been seeing material prices stabilize and fall a bit, which points to waning demand. All the same, few expect the growth to subside in a major way in the near future. Though economic conditions may have downshifted globally, the demand for U.S. metal fabricated products continues in high gear.
