MAJOR TRADE EVENT ATTRACTS WORLDWIDE AUDIENCE

Almost two thirds of the 1500-plus exhibitors at this year's IPM trade show were based in countries outside Germany. Most of them were undoubtedly drawn by the massive market there for horticultural products, with a 2018 turnover of almost €9bn. But well over a third of the 53,000 visitors also came from outside Germany. Many arrived with large purchasing power, like the Wyevale Group's contingent from the UK. Reports John Sutton.
