China Oriental stays profitable in tough times

The ArcelorMittal-linked company achieved net earnings of RMB34.3 M ($5.56 M, $4.26 M) in the first half. Though 32.8% lower than in the year-ago period China Oriental remained profitable, unlike many compatriots which fell into the red in the six months due to lower steel prices caused by lower demand and overcapacity.
