Taiwan's Formosa Plastics Group said start up of the first blast furnace it is building in Vietnam will be delayed due to recent street violence in the southeast Asian country. Chairman Lin Hsin-I said the group's Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corp's subsidiary expects operations will begin a month or two later than first planned next year.
