Shagang hikes products despite easing spot market

Privately-owned Shagang has decided to raise its longs prices by Yuan 50/t for the final part of February largely due to higher raw material prices, although spot market prices are falling back. The increase marked the second hike in the month after the east Chinese major lifted its list prices by Yuan 50/t in mid-February after the week-long Chinese New Year holiday early part this month.
