Monsanto down in fiscal 2010 despite Q4 gains

Increased sales of agrochemicals and seed boosted Monsanto's fourth-quarter revenues by 3.9% to $1,953 million. However, seed and trait gains could not offset the slump in glyphosate herbicide revenues in the first nine months of the year, resulting in a 10.4% drop in overall sales to $10,502 million in the year ended August 31st 2010.
