Steel imports into US show signs of declining

US-imported steel totalled a preliminary 2.6m net tons in July, including 2.1m net tons of finished steel, down 8% each, respectively, from June's final Census Bureau data. But finished steel imports in the first seven months of this year, however, are up 18.5% on the year before at 13.2m tons.
