My name is Joel Hirschhorn, and it is my great pleasure to introduce my parents, Kurt and Rochelle Hirschhorn, recipients of the 201? Victor A. McKusick Leadership Award. I have none of the usual conflicts of interest, but I do note that I received from the recipients extensive financial and emotional support, as well as life itself.Often, these introductions are done by a current or former trainee.
