Global agchem/seed sales to rise

Global sales of agrochemicals are expected to grow by 9-10% this year,or by 7% after inflation and currency effects are taken into account.Sales of genetically modified seed expressing input traits are projected to grow by 11.5% (10% in real terms).These forecasts were given by Gautam Sirur of UK consultancy Cropnosis at the Crop Protection Business Seminar held in conjunction with the BCPC Congress in Glasgow,UK,last month.
