摘要

Very few people relish the idea of getting older, and for us animal lovers, the only thing that may be worse than thinking about our own aging is thinking about that of our beloved four-legged friends. The difference between human and canine aging, as many of us know, is that while human aging has defined benchmarks that help doctors to assess our health, veterinarians have no comparable objective benchmarks for determining the quality of a dog's health as they grow older.
