It was her last day of working in the clinic at the Texas A&M University Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital on November 22, 2019, and TVMA member Claudia Barton, DVM, was paged overhead by a cardiology resident. The resident requested an oncology consultation for a patient. When Dr. Barton left her office and walked into the hall, she saw the walls lined with veterinary students, residents and faculty members from the teaching hospital.
