Brazoria Veterinary Clinic lies 40 miles south of Rosenberg on Highway 36 in a small rural town near the Freeport coast. Years before the clinic was built in the mid-i940s, folks in the area called on Dr. Russell Stanger to bring veterinary care to their home. Dr. Stanger graduated in the veterinary class of A&M College of Texas in 1945. Shortly thereafter, at the Stanger family ranch just outside the town of Brazoria, he began his bovine ambulatory practice to serve the Texas Gulf Coast area.
