Acquisitions boost Arysta in 2006

Contributions from acquired businesses boosted Arysta LifeScience's agrochemical sales by 9.7% to yuan 109,460 million (941 million) in 2006.The results included nine months of sales from the US off-patent pesticide business,Micro Flo,which was acquired from BASF in 2006 (Agrow No 494,p 3).A further contribution came from the South African generic agrochemical company,Volcano,in which Arysta acquired a 50% stake in 2005 (Agrow No 479,p 1).
