Mitsui & Co's crop protection distribution business,Certis,has launched Kumiai Chemical's fungicide,Valbon (benthiavalicarb-isopropyl+mancozeb),in the UK for use against potato blight (Phytophthora infestans).The application rate for the wettable granule formulation is 1.6 kg/ha,with a spray interval of seven days.A maximum of six applications can be made per crop.
