Workers' Memorial Day: Remembering Those Who Died on the Job

This Workers' Memorial Day, the USW held a memorial service to remember 19 people who died at USW-represented workplaces in the past year and vowed to never let up in the fight for safer conditions. "It's important for us to remember that each statistic is a person, a face, a family, and today is the chance for us to remind ourselves what we do, why we fight with every muscle in our body to ensure the safety of our members and of all workers across the globe," International Vice President Fred Redmond said at the memorial.
