US examines soil fumigant risks

The US EPA is conducting a comparative human health risk assessment for a group of soil fumigants because similar use patterns are expected to result in similar levels of exposure.The soil fumigant cluster consists of six pesticides,four of which are being considered for re-registration eligibility: methyl bromide,metam-sodium,chloropicrin and dazomet.
