DBV wants EU agchem authority

The German farmer's union, the DBV, has called for the establishment of an EU authority responsible uniquely for pesticide approvals. This follows a decision by a local German court to prevent the legal import and use of pesticides from Italy that are not exactly identical to products registered in Germany.
