A Technique for Production of High-Pressure Vessels from Polymer-Composite Materials

Abstract A new technique for production of high-pressure vessels from polymer-composite materials is suggested. The vessel has the form of a double-layer balloon, the internal layer of which is made from linear lowdensity polyethylene by rotational molding and the external layer of which is formed by winding of a reinforcing fiber impregnated with an oligomer on a polymer liner. The suggested technique for production of highpressure vessels is compared to the other known techniques.
