Borsodchem doubles TDI crystallisation

Kazincbarcika, Hungary - Borsodchem is doubling capacity of the TDI crystallisation unit at its Kazincbarcika plant in Hungary. The company said that construction has already begun. Borsodchem said the expansion should come on stream in the third quarter of 2018. This will increase capacity for its T65 and T100 TDI grades. T65 and T100 are largely used for polyurethane coatings, adhesive and flexible foam. 'This capacity expansion will allow Borsodchem to meet the strong demand growth, and continue to provide stable supply in the coming years,' said the announcement.
