Lear debuts smart auto seating at CES Las Vegas

Southfield,Michigan-Lear launched its Intu seating system at the CES show in Las Vegas,Nevada. This new auto seating system offers users comfort,safety,entertainment and wellness,and features polyurethane cushioning. The product made its debut in the Rinspeed microSnap. The microSnap is a concept autonomous vehicle with interchangeable seating/cargo units. The Intu seating system features Lear's non-intrusive bio-sensing technology,which uses radio-frequency sensing to read passengers’heart and respiration rates. The system is designed to detect drowsiness: if the seat thinks the driver is falling asleep,it activates corresponding treatments like heat and massage to help promote safer driving.
