Production of anticorrosive phosphate pigments in a pilot plant

A pilot plant for the prodn. of Zn-free anticorrosive phosphate pigments was constructed. The Al, Sr and Ca phosphates-contg. pigments were produced and studied for physicochem. and anticorrosive properties. The results were compared with analogous materials prepd. under lab. conditions. The pigments exhibited similar properties regardless of the process scale.
