Comparison of the fertilizer efficiency of ammonium nitrate granulated by mechanical and tower methods and urea in dry conditions and optimal soil moisture

Three N-contg. fertilizers were tested at varying soil humidity levels. Under drought conditions, no differences in the effectiveness between mech. granulated NH4NO3 (AN), prilled AN and urea on the yield of wheat grain were obsd. Under optimal humidity conditions, the highest yields of wheat were obtained when mech. granulated AN was used.
