Seven municipal wastes after mech. and biol. stabilization (grain size up to 20 mm) were dried, mech. disintegrated and extd. with redistd. H2O. The exts. were studied for pH, elec. condy., and contents of org. C and 13 elements. The results were compared with only mech. treated wastes and composts. The stabilized wastes had medium salinity and lowest content of water-soluble fraction of org. C. The contents of P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cr and Ni in the exts. were lower by 27-81% in relation to the only mech. treated waste but higher (by 0.3-464%) contents of Ca, Mg, Na, Zn, Cu, Mn, C and Ni than the exts. obtained from compost. The stabilized waste had also lower content of H2O-sol. fraction of P, K and Fe (by 56-85%) than the compost.
