Wynca's agrochemicals down 13% in first half

Chinese company Zhejiang Wynca Chemical saw agrochemical sales fall 12.8% to Yuan 1,036.1 million ($153.1 million at the current rate) in the first six months of 2010. Costs for the agrochemical division were up 0.3% on the same period last year. In contrast, the company's total sales, which include organosilicone products, increased by 11% to Yuan 2,238.6 million ($330.9 million). Agrochemicals accounted for 46.3% of total sales in the first six months. They accounted for 52.3% of sales in 2009 and 70.9% in 2008 (Agrow No 593, p 6).
