PV feeling the spring fever

Guggenheim Solar ETF - TAN Holdings. The investor sentiment in the solar sector was very strong in February. Month-to-date (MTD), the Guggenheim Solar ETF (TAN) increased 4.7% versus the S&P 500 and Dow that gained 2.6% and 3.4% respectively. The sector outperformance was mainly driven by China's potential new solar policy which reintroduces PV subsidies at the national level, and also the strong expectations for PV demand in the USA for 2019/2020. The top performing solar stocks in the U.S. market MTD are Sunworks (up 44%), Sunrun (up 17%), Vivint Solar (up 15%), SunPower (up 12%), and JinkoSolar (up 10%).
