Approximately 2.1 mn tons of paper, board, and articles has been exported from Russia over the first ten months of 2002 according to the preliminary estimates. In terms of value, this index constituted around USD 741 mn. Average prices while exporting paper, board, and articles in the period under review reached about USD/MT 360. geographical pattern of paper production export from Russia in January-September 2002 embraced over 130 countries. There were four countries which share constituted 5j percent or more of the total export of paper, board, and articles from Russia in January-October 2002: China, Germany, India, and Turkey.
