Gippsland academic wins engineering medal

Senior engineering lecturer at Monash's Gippsland campus, Mr Ray Beebe, has been awarded the George Julius Medal by Engineers Australia. The presentation was made at a dinner with Mechanical College Board representatives in Melbourne. The Mechanical College Board may award the medal annually to the author(s) of the publication in the field of mechanical engineering judged to be the best in any calendar year. The award was made for Ray's book, Predictive maintenance of pumps using condition monitoring, published by Elsevier Advanced Technology.
