US pesticide development company Vestaron raised $10.2 million for the continued development of biopesticides based on spider venom toxins. Italian agrochemical company Isagro's US subsidiary, Isagro USA, appointed US biopesticide firm AgraQuest as distributor for the biofungicide, Bio-Tam (Trichoderma asperellum strain ICC 012 + T gamsii strain ICC 080), for agricultural crops in the US.
