AgraGtuest to debut US seed treatments

The US biopesticide company,,AgraQuest (Davis, California), plans to introduce fungicidal seed treatments based on its foliar biofungicides, Serenade (Bacillus subtilis strain QST713) and Sonata (B pumilis strain QST2808), following EPA approval of seed treatment applications. Expanded field testing by major seed companies and seed treaters will continue this year, with introductions planned for 2013. They will be the first in a range of seed treatments to be launched in global markets in the coming years, the company says.
