Japanese company Hokko Chemical recorded agrochemical sales of ￥34,268 million (us282 million) in the year ended November 30th 2001, similar to the previous year. Domestic sales decreased by just 0.7% to ￥33,096 million, reflecting the static Japanese agrochemical market, but exports rose by 16.7% to ￥1,172 million.
