Nippon Soda's agrochemical sales for the year to March 31st 2013 were ￥38,041 million ($388 million at the current rate), up 6.5% compared with ￥35,714 million ($365 million) in the previous year. The company recorded growth in domestic and overseas markets. However, operating profit declined by 10.1% to ￥1,870 million ($19 million).
