Monsanto posts strong Q2

Agrochemical sales led the way in strong rising sales for Monsanto's-fiscal-second quarter ended February 29th. Sales for the agricultural productivity business leapt by 16.1% to $824 million, while the seed and trait segment advanced by 14.7% to $3,924 million. Combined sales rose by 14.9% to $4,748 million.
