The Brazilian state of Parana is to simplify its pesticide registration regulations. The state's Agriculture Minister Norberto Ortigara has signed a resolution simplifying the approval process. It has to be approved by the state legislature, and may include amendments. The intended resolution allows already federally approved products to be sold and used in Parana, and would bring Parana into line with regulations in other states.
