摘要

A field experiment was conducted in medium black calcareous soil at Instructional farm, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh during kharif 2003-04. The results revealed that the plant height, branches per plant, bolls per plant seed cotton yield, stalk yield and total yield obtained higher at 180 Kg N ha~(-1) which was at par with 150 Kg N ha~(-1) except branches per plant. Whereas the branches per plant, bolls per plant and seed cotton yield were recorded higher in K level of 150 Kg ha~(-1). The NPK content in seed cotton as well as in stalk were remain unaffected except N content in stalk. Significandy highest N content in stalk was observed with N_(180). The uptake of N by cotton was significandy influenced under N level, while the uptakesof K by seed cotton and total cotton yield were significandy affected by levels of K.
