ABERDEEN BRANCH MEETING FOR MARCH 2013 VISIT TO INTERTEK ABERDEEN LABORATORY

On the 26th of March, Aberdeen branch members visited the Intertek laboratories. Intertek microbiologists gave presentations on test techniques and delegates were shown various laboratory test equipment. After a safety brief, delegates were divided into groups and taken to various sections of the laboratory facility. Lorna Richardson gave delegates a tour of the sampling and analysis laboratory where analysis of bacteria, fibre count, portable water quality tests, cross contamination checks and other basic tests were performed.
