14th May 2008 - Thornton Cleveleys,-Victrex plc,the leading manufacturer of high performance materials,including VICTREX~R PEEK~(TM) polymer,has won the prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA ) President's Award.The President's Award was given to Victrex in recognition of its remarkable achievement of maintaining a high level of occupational health and safety performance and being awarded a Gold Achievement Award over a sustained period of eleven consecutive years.Victrex won the Gold Achievement Award in recognition of the company's excellent management of in-house health and safety systems during 2007.
